TUESDAY RECAP: Broncos, Mils get on the board

REGINA, SK – Dazza Mitchell made a remarkable 62 stops and Zach Bansley scored 3:44 into the second overtime as the Humboldt Broncos snatched Game 3 from the Flin Flon Bombers 3-2.

Flin Flon’s series lead was cut to 2-1.

In Melville, the Millionaires got on the board with a 5-2 win behind a pair of goals from Gaborik Carlson and a stellar 38-save performance in net from Ben Laurette.

Weyburn got goals from five different sources, and the Red Wings grabbed their series lead back from the North Stars with a 5-3 victory over Battlefords.

Jerome Maharaj and Max Chakrabarti both had multi-point outings.

Finally, in Kindersley, the Klippers were pushed to the brink by the Melfort Mustangs, who downed them 4-3 despite a late rally from No. 8 Klips.

Ashton Paul and Zayden Sadlemyer added two assists each in the victory.
