SGEU MVP of the Week: Jerome Maharaj, Weyburn Red Wings
Following a week off the Weyburn Red Wings were one of the busiest teams in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League this past week. The club earned three out of a possible six points on the road and a big reason why was the play of forward Jerome Maharaj. The 19-year-old found the back of the net three times and added a pair of assists in three games this week. Maharaj is now up to 10 goals and 9 assists on the season and is tied for 12th in league scoring.

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Braxton Buckberger, Nipawin Hawks
Braxton Buckberger continues to put up points for the Nipawin Hawks. This past week in three games the 20-year-old from Saskatoon scored twice and added two assists. Both of his goals came in a comeback win over the Melfort Mustangs Saturday night. Buckberger is up to 8 goals and 16 assists on the season and goes into the 2023 SJHL Showcase in 4th in SJHL scoring.

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Tanner Gold, Battlefords North Stars
The Battlefords North Stars continue to roll as they are currently riding a six game winning streak going into the 2023 SJHL Showcase. For the 2nd time this season Captain Tanner Gold of the Stars has earned SuperU Defenceman of the Week honours. The 20-year-old blue-liner found the back of the net and added three assists in a pair of North Stars victories.

DirectWest Rookie of the Week: Landon Pappas, Nipawin Hawks
While Braxton Buckberger led the Hawks up front, it was rookie defenceman Landon Pappas contributing the most on the blue line for the Hawks. In three games played this week, the 18-year-old found the back of the net once and added four assists. In one week the Airdrie, AB product doubled his point total. He currently has 2 goals and 9 assists in his first season in the SJHL.

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Ethan Farrow, Yorkton Terriers
The Yorkton Terriers have a new netminder in between the pipes helping them earn important points in the standings. Ethan Farrow was a perfect 2-0 this week, earning victories on the road against both the Notre Dame Hounds and Nipawin Hawks. In his two games played, Farrow allowed just four goals and made 62 stops combined this week.

Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Keagon Little, Estevan Bruins (from Wymark, Sask)
The Estevan Bruins continue to roll. The team has won five straight games and their Captain is helping lead the way. In two games this weekend against the Melville Millionaires, the 20-year-old had four assists. The Wymark, Saskatchewan product is up to two goals and 14 assists on the season and has found lots of chemistry with line-mates Owen Barrow and Turner McMillan.
