A trio of games Wednesday night in the SJHL saw the Flin Flon Bombers continue on their winning ways and the Melfort Mustangs and Nipawin Hawks earning dominant wins at home.

Flin Flon 1 La Ronge 0 (Highlights Unavailable)
The La Ronge Ice Wolves did a great job of shutting down the high power offence of the Flin Flon Bombers, but couldn’t beat Harmon Laser-Hume who made 31 saves for the shutout. The lone goal would come off the stick of SJHL league leader Justin Lies who scored his 23rd goal of the season. Topher Chirco was outstanding for the Ice Wolves in the loss, making 52 saves in the loss.

Thursday will be an off night in the league, but action will resume on Friday with another trio of games.
